Lot 365:
Pair Glass Dolphin Candlesticks
Sold for: $60
Description
9.5 inches tall. A matching pair of transparent salmon pink pressed glass candlesticks featuring a figural dolphin pedestal. Each candlestick is composed of a petal-shaped candle cup above a knopped stem. The central support is a stylized, scaly dolphin figure with a curled tail forming a loop, a motif common in mid-20th-century American pressed glass. The circular, domed base is decorated with a deep diamond-point pressed pattern. The glass exhibits minor production-related pressing lines and air bubbles throughout. No maker?s marks, signatures, or labels are present on either piece.
