Description
A framed rectangular textile fragment, likely a portion of a larger tribal storage bag such as a mafrash or khorjin. The piece is executed in a flat-weave technique, specifically soumak or supplementary weft wrapping, featuring a complex geometric design. The central field displays a vertical series of stylized hooked medallions in alternating cream and burnt orange, set against a deep madder red ground with indigo blue accents. This central panel is framed by multiple decorative borders incorporating diamond, triangle, and sawtooth motifs.
