Description
A collection of English polychrome glazed ceramic character jugs manufactured by Royal Doulton, featuring King Henry VIII and three of his wives. The earthenware pieces are modeled as busts with handles reflecting the history of each figure. The jug depicting Henry VIII features the King in a dark brown coat with a pleated white collar and a black hat with a grey feather, with the handle modeled as a grey stone castle turret.
