Description
An ornate, multi-layered portrait frame featuring a heavily molded and gilded composition-on-wood outer border decorated with scrolls and foliate motifs. The tiered interior construction incorporates a red velvet-lined secondary frame surrounding a gilded inner slip and a cream-colored mat with an oval aperture and gilded bezel. The reverse reveals the layered wood construction secured by six metal swivel clips and four flat metal brackets, with a wire hanging assembly attached to two eye screws.
