Description
This late 19th-century Victorian style doll carriage is constructed with a wooden body finished in dark blue paint with black pinstriped accents. It features four large wooden spoked wheels with iron tires and decorative pinstriping. A long curved wooden handle with a turned handgrip is attached to the rear. The adjustable canopy is supported by two decorative cast-iron brackets with a gear-adjustment mechanism. The canopy is covered in dark fabric and finished with a long brown multi-strand fringe. The interior is lined with black padded upholstery featuring a tufted backrest. A light-colored painted scroll flourish is visible on the exterior side panels. No maker marks are present 29x12x29
