Description
A small cider cask associated with the English brand Gaymer’s Cyder. The barrel is constructed of vertical wood staves held together by four iron hoops. A circular metal collar is fitted around the bung hole, featuring the embossed text GAYMER’S CYDER. A wooden bung or stopper is present within the collar. The top head of the barrel is stamped with the four-digit number 7559. The construction features iron hoop fasteners, though modern Phillips-head screws have been used to secure them to the staves. 12×17
