Description
This collection of books includes several hardcover volumes and a paperback boxed set, primarily within the horror, fantasy, and fiction genres. The group features a 2015 Barnes & Noble collectible edition of The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe, bound in decorative black bonded leather with red and white stamping and artwork by Florian Bertmer. Also included is a 2012 Fall River Press edition of H.P. Lovecraft?s Great Tales of Horror, featuring a compilation by S.T. Joshi and cover art by Dana MacKenzie, in hardcover with its original dust jacket. The set contains a 1984 Ballantine Books edition of Bertrice Small?s All the Sweet Tomorrows in hardcover with its original dust jacket, and a 1988 G.P. Putnam?s Sons first edition of Robin Cook?s Mortal Fear. The Cook volume is bound in cloth-backed grey boards with a facsimile author signature on the front cover and lacks its dust jacket. Completing the collection is The Wheel of Time Boxed Set III by Robert Jordan, published by Tor Fantasy, containing three mass market paperbacks: A Crown of Swords, The Path of Daggers, and Winter’s Heart, housed in a pictorial slipcase. The volumes are generally octavo in size, with the Jordan set comprising mass market paperbacks.
