Description
A large-format softcover monograph titled Antonio D’Acchille: Neomanierismo, published by Carte Segrete in 1995. This first edition volume serves as a comprehensive study of the artist Antonio D’Acchille and his contributions to the Neomannerist movement. The book features a preface by Rosario Assunto, a main essay by Giorgio Tempesti, and was curated by Massimo Riposati. It also includes an additional essay titled Idea di Roma by Claudio Strinati. The publication is profusely illustrated with high-quality color plates of the artist’s large-scale oil paintings, depicting mythological, allegorical, and religious subjects such as Il passo di Acheloo (1986), Le perle (1989), Il ratto delle Sabine (1990), and Altare Maggiore, crocifissione (1992). Black-and-white photographs documenting the artist at work in his studio are also present. The book is bound in stiff pictorial paper wrappers with a yellow title band on the front cover.
