Description
An assortment of decorative mineral specimens featuring polished spheres and matrix pieces with crystalline inclusions. The collection includes a polished dark basaltic sphere containing an amethyst geode cavity with purple quartz crystals. Matrix specimens consist of white howlite with characteristic black dendritic veining; these contain prepared cavities filled with dense clusters of vibrant red and metallic dark gray acicular crystals. Both howlite specimens feature a reddish-brown border at the cavity interface. The group further includes polished stone spheres, including a dark green mottled stone with a cavity of bright blue acicular crystals and a cream-colored stone with a cavity of orange acicular crystals. These specimens exhibit characteristics common to assembled decorative mineral displays where crystal clusters are situated within prepared stone cavities.
