Description
This lot features eight polished stone spheres showcasing a variety of natural geological materials. The collection includes one labradorite sphere exhibiting labradorescence with blue and green flashes, one amethyst sphere of purple and white crystalline quartz, and one gray and white fossiliferous limestone sphere containing fossil inclusions of Orthoceras and related cephalopod species. The set also includes one banded tiger iron sphere composed of layers of hematite, red jasper, and tiger’s eye, and one translucent reddish-orange carnelian sphere with internal cloud-like patterns. Completing the group are one quartz sphere with dark mineral inclusions, one pink rhodonite sphere with black manganese oxide veining, and one solid black polished sphere showing internal structure under bright light. Approximate Dimensions: 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter.
