Lot 352:
Description
15 inches. A wall-mounted dinner bell constructed from cast iron in a rustic farmhouse style. The item features a vertical mounting bracket decorated with scrollwork flourishes and two pre-drilled holes for installation. A horizontal arm extends from the bracket, supporting a detailed double-sided rooster finial with textured feather patterns and a comb. The bell is suspended from a cast iron loop on the underside of the arm. The internal clapper remains intact, though it is currently secured to the bell housing with a contemporary white braided synthetic cord. The entire piece is finished with a uniform and heavy layer of surface oxidation. No maker marks, foundry stamps, or signatures are visible on the object.
