Lot 63:
Description
This lot consists of 250 United States one-cent coins, commonly referred to as Lincoln Wheat Cents, contained within a clear plastic bag. The coins feature the obverse design of Abraham Lincoln and the reverse design of two wheat stalks framing the denomination. The collection is predominantly composed of copper alloy strikes, although at least two zinc-coated steel cents, consistent with the 1943 issue, are visible in the group. The coins represent various dates and mint marks from the series. The packaging includes a handwritten paper label reading 250 Wheat pennies and a printed auction lot sticker from Atlee Raber Auctions for lot number 63.
