Description
This lot consists of 250 US Lincoln Wheat Cents. The group is composed primarily of bronze one-cent pieces featuring the Victor David Brenner obverse design with the portrait of Abraham Lincoln and the wheat stalks reverse design issued by the US Mint between 1909 and 1958. The collection contains a variety of dates and mint marks, with at least one coin visibly dated 1955. One zinc-plated steel cent, characteristic of the 1943 issue, is visible within the assortment. Inscriptions include ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and the respective dates. The coins are housed in a clear plastic bag with an auction lot tag from Atlee Raber Auctions.
