Description
70 x 82 This hand-quilted bedcovering features a solid-color pieced top and a solid backingmade by the Goshen IN Amish. The face of the quilt is constructed with a central lavender rectangular panel surrounded by a contrasting solid orange inner border and a wide lavender outer border. The reverse consists of a solid pale yellow fabric. The piece is hand-quilted throughout with fine, consistent stitching. The central field and outer lavender border are decorated with large-scale scrolling floral and feather motifs. The orange inner border contains a continuous chain pattern of interlocking oval or double-leaf shapes. The edges are finished with a separate lavender binding.
