70 x 84 This unfinished textile project is a patchwork quilt top featuring a traditional nine-patch block construction. The piece is composed of multiple nine-patch squares set into a large field of light blue fabric printed with a dense, small-scale black sprig or leaf pattern. The individual blocks utilize a variety of printed cotton or cotton-blend fabrics, including a distinctive stylized pink print with black swirling lines and blue and black eye motifs, a black fabric with repeating geometric floral designs in teal and yellow, and a light blue fabric with a quilted texture. Additional squares feature patterns of pink wavy lines, white and pink florals, and solid or subtly patterned yellow fabrics. The top is pieced together and includes a layer of batting underneath, but it has not been quilted through all layers and lacks a backing and finished binding.
