Description
60 x 72 This mid-century American patchwork quilt is hand-pieced and hand-quilted, featuring a scrappy and improvisational design. The layout incorporates a series of cross or plus motifs, most notably a large central cross executed in a blue paisley fabric. The top is constructed from a wide variety of cotton fabric remnants, including calico florals, ginghams, polka dots, paisleys, and various geometric prints characteristic of the mid-20th century era. The quilt features vertical hand-quilted stitching throughout. The reverse side is finished with a yellow and white floral calico print.
