Description
78 x 78 This hand-pieced and hand-quilted textile features a variation of the Triple Irish Chain pattern. The design consists of a small-scale red and green checkerboard grid interspersed with larger yellow eight-pointed star medallions. The quilt is constructed from solid-colored cotton or cotton-blend fabrics in a primary color palette of red, green, and yellow. The yellow medallions are accented with hand-quilted floral or sunburst motifs, while the yellow and green borders feature a hand-quilted cable and leaf design. The reverse is finished with a white cotton backing printed with small red polka dots.
