Description
A collection of three poultry feed sacks comprising one paper bag and two cloth bags. The first item is a 25 lb. capacity paper bag for Waynco Feeds Laying Crumbles, manufactured by Eason Milling Co. of Bests and LaGrange, North Carolina. The yellow kraft paper bag features red and blue printing with a central graphic of a Native American rider on a horse and is marked for the Chase Bag Co. of Reidsville, North Carolina. The second item is a large 100 lb. capacity cotton feed sack for Gold Medal Scratch Feed, produced by General Mills, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota. This sack features blue printed text with an oval logo and a Chase Bag Co. mark at the bottom. The third item is a smaller cloth bag for McBiddie’s Chick Starter, part of the Blue Ribbon Feed line from the Division of Randolph’s. It features a multicolored farm scene with a hen, chicks, and a red barn. This bag is tied with a fiber rope and bears a 1981 copyright stamp on the reverse. Capacities: 25 lbs., 100 lbs.
