Description
This lot comprises two 1/16 scale die-cast metal model tractors manufactured by ERTL. Both models are presented in their original manufacturer packaging. The first item is a John Deere 435 Diesel tractor from the Replica Play series. The model features a green body with yellow accents, rubber tires, and detailed decals including the John Deere logo and 435 Diesel model designation. The original window box features a historical black and white photograph of a 435 tractor on the reverse and is marked with copyright information for TOMY, Oak Brook, Illinois. The second item is a John Deere 1953 Model 70 Row-Crop tractor, designated as Model No. 5611 from the ERTL Blueprint Replica Toys series. The model includes a steerable front end, a rear hitch, and rubber tires. The tractor is finished in signature John Deere green with yellow wheels. The brown cardboard display box features illustrations of other equipment, specifically the 1940 Model 12A Combine and the 1940 Model A Tractor, along with historical specifications for the Model 70.
