Description
A pressed steel dump truck manufactured by Louis Marx and Co. under the Lumar brand name. This model is part of the Lumar Contractors line, featuring a red-painted cab and chassis with a contrasting gray-painted dump bed. The cab sides are adorned with yellow and black lithographed decals that read LUMAR CONTRACTORS, supplemented by technical specifications including G.V.W. 18,000 and TIRES 11.00-20. The toy is equipped with a manual hand-crank mechanism positioned on the passenger side of the chassis to operate the tipping action of the rear bed. It retains its four original black rubber tires. A white auction lot tag is currently attached to the front axle.
