Description
This 1:16 scale model represents a J.I. Case Grand Detour two-bottom plow. The piece is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components. The color scheme features a green and red frame, bright yellow spoked wheels, and silver-tone plowshares. The model includes functional mechanical details such as a vertical adjustment lever and a gear-toothed height adjustment mechanism. It is equipped with two large spoked main wheels and a smaller solid rear furrow wheel. A multi-colored decal on the side of one plowshare contains the Grand Detour 1837 logo, the Case name in red lettering, and the text Racine Wisconsin USA alongside the Old Abe eagle emblem. Both plowshares also feature red Case decals on their forward sections. A paper auction tag is attached to the frame with a string, bearing the numbers 678 and 258.
