Description
This lot features two toy airplanes. The first is a limited edition Coca-Cola model airplane manufactured by Xonex in 1995. This die-cast metal toy is designed in the style of a vintage pedal plane and features a red painted finish. The fuselage displays white Coca-Cola script, and the wing is decorated with a white star roundel. Details include white wheels with black tires and silver-tone trim for the propeller, steering wheel, and fuselage accents. An adhesive label on the interior underside of the fuselage identifies the piece as XONEX LIMITED EDITION Coca Cola Plane No. 05418 of 10,000, copyrighted 1995 by Ken Kovach. The designer signature Ken Kovach is printed on the lower rear fuselage. Both the propeller and wheels are manually rotatable. The second item is a decorative biplane model constructed from painted sheet metal and wire. The aircraft features a blue fuselage and lower wing with a red upper wing and tail fin. The construction utilizes black wire struts and includes a small rotatable propeller at the nose. A large integrated metal hook is attached to the underside, intended for hanging display.
