Description
A vintage tall rectangular wooden storage box featuring a cast metal pineapple applique on the front face. The box is constructed from wood with a vertical grain and a light honey-toned finish, designed with rounded vertical edges. It features a hinged lid that opens to reveal a single, deep, square-profile hollowed interior. Handwritten markings in dark ink are visible on the interior surfaces: the underside of the lid is inscribed with P 1-1, and the upper rim of the main body is marked 542. The three-dimensional pineapple motif is composed of a brass or bronze-toned metal alloy.
