Description
This height-adjustable floor candle stand is constructed of hand-forged wrought iron with a matte black finish. The design follows an Early American or Colonial pattern, featuring a tripod base with three arched legs that end in flattened penny feet. The central vertical rod tapers to a pointed finial at the top. A sliding ratchet-style arm is mounted to the central shaft, allowing for height adjustment. The arm is equipped with a leaf-shaped drip pan and a cylindrical socket designed to hold a single taper candle. No maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are visible on the metalwork. A small blank paper tag is attached to the base with string.
