Description
This vintage industrial water cooler or beverage dispenser was manufactured by the Dixie Cup Company. The unit features a large-capacity cylindrical body constructed of painted metal in a dark olive green finish. A manual dispensing spigot is housed within a recessed silver-tone alcove at the front base. Two matching cylindrical cup dispensers are mounted to the exterior side of the main body. The main body displays an inverted triangular logo for Dixie Cup Co. along with Stock No. 8795 and Model C. The lid of the cup dispenser is marked with the company name and manufacturing locations including Easton, PA, Chicago, ILL, Darlington, SC, and Fort Smith, ARK. The dispenser body is specifically marked for use with Vortex Cups No. 154. The unit is topped with a heavy-duty arched metal handle that is secured to the lid by two knurled nuts on threaded posts. One original conical white paper cup is present in the dispenser.
