Lot 466:
Pair Framed B-29 & B-24 Heavy Bomber Photo Prints
Description
This lot features two framed color photographic prints depicting iconic World War II-era heavy bombers in flight. The upper print shows the Boeing B-29 Superfortress "FIFI" over a forested, mountainous landscape. The aircraft is marked with "CONFEDERATE AIR FORCE" on the fuselage and a white letter "A" on the vertical stabilizer, corresponding to its livery as part of the Commemorative Air Force collection. The lower print depicts the Consolidated B-24 Liberator "DIAMOND LIL, " registration N12905, shown against a bright blue sky. Both photographs appear to be commemorative prints produced for aviation enthusiasts. The items are professionally housed in matching medium-toned wood frames with double matting in navy blue and cream. No signatures, edition numbers, or publisher marks are visible.
