Description
This is a dash-style butter churn featuring a tapered barrel constructed of vertical wooden staves. The barrel is held together by four black-painted metal hoops. The churn is complete with its original matching components, including a circular wooden lid with a central aperture and a long wooden dasher terminating in a perforated circular wooden disk. The object is crafted from a light-colored wood, such as pine or cedar, and finished with a clear coat. No manufacturer marks, stamps, or patent dates are visible on the barrel, lid, or dasher. A white auction tag with a barcode is attached to the dasher handle.
