Description
A collection of brass crotal bells mounted to a long, dark leather strap. These bells are spherical in form, each featuring a single horizontal slit and two small circular apertures at the terminal ends of the slit. The bells are cast from brass and exhibit an aged patina with varied levels of surface oxidation and tarnish. The leather strap is thick and shows characteristics of age, including surface cracking and edge wear. No visible maker marks, size numbers, or patent information are present on the bells or the strap. The mounting hardware on the reverse of the leather is not clearly visible in the provided images.
