Description
This lot features twowooden soda delivery crates for Pepsi-Cola, representing different eras of the company’s branding. The first crate is constructed of wood with a bright yellow painted exterior and features the word PEPSI in large, dark blue block lettering on the long sides. The end panels include hand-hold cutouts and are marked PEPSI-COLA. It is reinforced with galvanized metal corner plates and contains a wooden grid divider designed for 24 bottles. The second crate is made of natural wood with red stenciled graphics. The long sides feature the DRINK Pepsi-Cola script logo with the double-dot punctuation between the words. The ends are marked with the same script logo, 24 BOTTLES, and CLEVELAND, OHIO. A red rectangular stamp on one end appears to read WINNIDY’S. This crate is reinforced with metal strapping at the ends and includes a 24-compartment wooden divider.
