Description
Thisfigural Christmas ornament is constructed from hand-blown silvered glass, featuring hand-painted details. The design depicts a whimsical character with a large yellow spherical head and a prominent, elongated drooping trunk or nose. The face is detailed with large white eyes, black pupils and eyelashes, and a small red mouth. Two recessed black circular indentations are located on either side of the head. The body consists of a larger glass sphere, divided into a teal-blue upper section and a bright pink lower section. A white painted band around the neck serves as a collar. A yellow pocket detail with black linework is painted onto the blue portion of the body. The ornament is finished with a metal cap and a wire hanging loop at the top.
