Lot 547:
Pair of Camellia Floral Prints
Description
This lot features a matching pair of vintage floral prints, each depicting an arrangement of camellias. The compositions showcase various double-bloom varieties in shades of salmon-pink, cream-white, and deep rose, accented by dark green serrated leaves against a muted blue-gray background. These works are produced using chromolithography, characterized by soft tonal gradations and a multi-color printing process that mimics the appearance of a painting. The prints are housed under glass in tiered wooden.
