Cast Iron & Brass Model Field Cannon
Description
5.5 x 2 in. A miniature field artillery cannon model featuring a turned and stepped brass barrel mounted onto a cast iron field carriage. The carriage is fitted with multi-spoked cast iron wheels on an axle and terminates in a pierced trailing spade. The cast iron components retain an applied black finish. The brass barrel is bored at the muzzle and mounted via integrated trunnions secured by carriage caps.
