US Silver Roosevelt Dimes, 1946-1948
Description
A collection of United States Roosevelt dimes struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, dated between 1946 and 1948. The obverse displays the Roosevelt design with the designer’s initials JS at the truncation of the neck, lettered LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date. The reverse displays the torch flanked by branches design with inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and ONE DIME. The reverse mint mark position to the left of the torch base displays an S mint mark on at least one specimen.
