US Silver Washington Quarters, 1941-46
Description
A collection of United States Washington quarter dollars struck in 90% silver and 10% copper, comprising dates from the 1940s including 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1946. Represented mint facilities include Philadelphia (no mint mark), Denver (D), and San Francisco (S), with mint marks positioned on the reverse beneath the wreath. The coins feature the Washington quarter design type by John Flanagan with reeded edges. Several examples are housed in cardboard and mylar flips with handwritten numismatic.
