9.5 x 5.5 in. An early 20th-century lithographed tinplate three-pound coffee canister for Thomas J. Webb Coffee of Chicago. The tall cylindrical can features a tri-band color scheme composed of orange-red upper and lower panels flanking a wide dark blue center band, bordered by gold-toned metallic banding. Printed text on the body includes the quote, "A superior BLEND so good that I take pride in giving it my own name and personal endorsement." along with the brand script "Thomas J.
