Description
7 in. A late 19th-century miniature non-electric kerosene or oil lantern of the type commonly referred to as a skater’s lamp. Constructed from brass and sheet iron or tinplate, the lantern features a stepped conical fuel fount base, a perforated gallery burner, a clear glass chimney globe with a pinched waist, and a perforated sheet metal top cap secured by a pivoting wire bail handle.
