US 1887-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coin
Description
United States Morgan dollar struck in 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features the Morgan design, dated 1887, with the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and thirteen stars. The reverse displays the heraldic eagle design surrounded by an open wreath, with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST, legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and denomination ONE DOLLAR. An O mint mark is positioned on the reverse below the wreath and above the denomination, denoting production at the New Orleans Mint.
