Lot 162:
Description
12 x 12 in. A vintage utilitarian wooden stave bucket, likely of late 19th or early 20th-century manufacture. The vessel is constructed using traditional cooperage techniques with vertical wooden staves. Two specific staves extend above the rim to form integral handles, each featuring a circular piercing. A horizontal metal rod, which served as a carrying handle, remains partially intact through these apertures.
