9.5 x 10 in. A vintage industrial lubricant container for Arctic Cup Grease manufactured by The Standard Oil Company. This square-format tin pail features lithographed graphics in yellow, black, and red. The front and back panels are prominently marked N and list the net weight as twenty-five pounds. The brand name ARCTIC is displayed above a decorative scrollwork frame containing the words CUP GREASE. Along the bottom edge, it is marked THE STANDARD OIL COMPANY with a sub-line reading AN OHIO CORPORATION.
