Lot 120:
Cast Metal Hunting Dog Sculpture
Description
10 x 6.5 in. This hollow-cast metal sculpture depicts a hunting dog, modeled as a pointer or similar sporting breed, in an alert walking stance with its head turned sharply to the left. The figure is realistically rendered with attention to anatomical musculature and features a molded collar around its neck. It is mounted to an integral, textured oval base designed to resemble natural earth or terrain. The sculpture is finished with a dark, blackened patina.
