Painted Steel Horse Tricycle
Description
33 x 30 x 20 in. A child’s riding tricycle featuring a sculptural body in the form of a rearing horse. The horse figure is constructed of hollow pressed steel or tin, finished in polychrome paint including a tan body, white facial markings, and a decorative red, green, and blue saddle and bridle. The steering is controlled by curved tubular steel handlebars connected to a front-wheel fork. The drive system is a direct-drive pedal mechanism attached to the front wheel axle, featuring metal pedals with black rubber pads.
