Lot 189:
Angelini Mixed Media Rural Barn Scene
Description
35 x 35 in.; signed. This contemporary mixed media landscape painting on panel depicts a rural American scene with a prominent red barn, a white silo, and several evergreen trees. The composition utilizes a low horizon line set against a vast, expressive sky rendered in shades of blue and white with textured impasto work. The foreground and middle ground represent a field through heavily worked layers of acrylic or mixed media, featuring a palette of ochre, tan, and muted pink with dark splattered paint accents and fine incised lines.
