Description
This hand-pieced and hand-quilted cotton patchwork quilt features the Churn Dash pattern, a variation of the Greek Cross, arranged on point. The blocks are constructed from a diverse assortment of mid-20th-century printed cotton fabrics, including multi-colored calicoes, florals, checks, and stripes in tones of navy, indigo, burgundy, and purple. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the front or reverse of the piece. Measurements/Notes: 73 x 80.
