Lot 110A:
Bronze Rearing Horse Sculpture w/ Base
Sold for: $100
Description
This large-scale cast bronze sculpture captures a horse in a powerful leaping motion, executed in a modernist style with simplified, fluid anatomical planes. The work features a distinctive swept-back mane with deep horizontal ridges and a stylized, multi-tufted tail captured mid-motion. The figure is mounted to a separate rectangular wooden base that exhibits a rustic, hand-carved texture with a deep reddish-brown stain.
