Description
A collection of vintage die-cast toy vehicles housed in a red and white vinyl-covered carrying case. The case front features the printed text MINIATURE CARS CARRYING CASE and a circular Mattel logo. Inside are two red plastic divider trays containing an assortment of vehicles. One blue concept car features an underside marked HOT WHEELS, SILHOUETTE, ? 1967 MATTEL, INC., U.S. & FOR. PAT. PEND., and U.S.A. A metallic green coupe is marked with the TOPPER logo and text reading JOHNNY LIGHTNING, CUSTOM XKE, and U.S. AND FOREIGN PAT. PEND. The assortment includes numerous models with bases marked Made in England by Lesney for the Matchbox Series, including a red double-decker bus with visco-static BP decals and a Studebaker Lark Wagonaire. Other models include a variety of industrial trucks, service vehicles, and trailers.
