Description
A vintage advertising ceramic cookie jar designed in the form of the Keebler Hollow Tree. The item consists of two pieces: a trunk-form base with a brown-toned glaze and a removable lid modeled as a green leafy canopy. The front of the trunk features an inset relief of the character Ernie the Keebler Elf appearing within a tree hollow. A small molded sign on the side of the trunk displays the Keebler logo. The underside of the base features an impressed rectangular mark containing a stylized tree graphic and readable text that states: ? KEEBLER CO. 1981. Height: approximately 8.75 inches (measured in photo 6).
