Description
A collection of Marvel and DC comic books spanning the Bronze and Modern Ages, primarily dating from the mid-1970s and early 1990s. The group is anchored by a large-format Marvel Treasury Edition, Issue No. 3 (1974), titled The Mighty Thor, featuring cover art of Thor flying above Asgard with text reading A Deluxe Limited Edition of the All-Powerful God of Thunder! and 100 Page Collectors Special!!. The lot includes Spidey Super Stories No. 1 (October 1974) and No. 6 (March 1975). A commemorative item consists of a sealed black polybag featuring a red bleeding Superman logo. Other included titles are The Mighty Thor No. 419 and No. 451, Captain America No. 373 and No. 408, The Amazing Spider-Man No. 335, The Avengers No. 321, The Uncanny X-Men No. 293, Daredevil No. 309, and Iron Man No. 258.
