Description
A red carnival glass bowl featuring a deep iridescent finish with golden and purple highlights. The piece is constructed with a circular pedestal base showing vertical ribbing, supporting a wide, flared body with a deeply crimped or ruffled rim. The interior is decorated with a pressed pattern consisting of a central star medallion within a double ring, surrounded by an intricate scrolling border of heart-shaped leaves and stylized flowers. The exterior of the bowl is molded with vertical ribs that extend from the base to the underside of the rim. An oval mark containing the script name Fenton is embossed on the interior center of the base. Two small fragments of a white adhesive label are present on the underside of the base near the mark. Diameter: 8 inches.
