Description
A group of two pressed glass hen figural items. The first is a large translucent cobalt blue glass lid molded in the form of a sitting hen, featuring detailed feather texturing and a prominent upright tail. The second is a miniature covered dish of iridescent milk glass with a pearlescent finish, comprising a hen-shaped lid and an oval base with a molded basket-weave pattern. Neither piece bears any visible maker’s marks or signatures. Cobalt blue lid length: approx. 7.75 inches Miniature milk glass dish length: approx. 2.5 inches.
