Description
This group comprises an assortment of vintage jewelry, fraternal items, and personal vanity accessories. A circular Masonic stick pin in yellow metal features the square and compasses; its reverse bears several stamped marks including ‘W.G’ in a rectangular cartouche, the number ‘375’, a leopard?s head, and a lowercase ‘a’. Fraternal items also include an oval brass belt buckle with a blue enamel Masonic square and compasses center, stamped on the reverse ‘? 1993 / NAP Inc. / SOLID BRASS / F03’, and a large silver-toned cast metal Shriner?s emblem depicting a crescent, scimitar, and star. A circular compact features the multi-colored star emblem of the Order of the Eastern Star. The collection features two gold-toned metal lipstick cases with engraved floral and scrollwork patterns and a square compact with an exterior of inlaid mother-of-pearl tiles. Personal accessories include a cast brass buckle reading ‘FRONTIER / GOLD RUSH / CLUB’ with a longhorn head motif. A pair of cufflinks featuring wood inlay and gold-toned maple leaf motifs is presented in a red box printed with the brand name ‘Anson’ and the slogan ”They dress-up all your shirts”. A small group of pocket knives includes a blue plastic advertising folder printed with ‘Cipro IV / ciprofloxacin / MILES’ and a folding knife with a bone-colored handle bearing the inscribed name ‘A. Allan’. Jewelry items include several beaded necklaces: a multi-strand white faceted bead necklace, a long strand of large pistachio-green beads, a strand of white chevron-shaped beads, and multi-strand faux pearls. A double-strand gold-toned chain necklace is accented with four openwork diamond-shaped elements, each housing a turquoise-colored bead.
